EOD Related Illnesses

In recent editions of the Crimper newsletter, we’ve addressed exposure to toxic substances, burn pits, and provisions of the PACT Act (Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxins Act), which expands VA health care and benefits.  Beyond the PACT Act’s extensive expansion of VA benefits for conditions caused by toxic substances, there are two crucial VA screening programs.

VA benefits essential to active and veteran EOD technicians are based upon documented research relevant to the unique hazards of EOD activities. We can all help improve VA programs by contributing to that research. Whether you have submitted a disability claim or not, whether you believe you have a PACT Act-related condition or not, join the team.

The War Related Illness and Injury Study Center offers a telehealth program specifically for EOD veterans.
